▶ My mill is leaking flour / has a broken top / needs parts. What are my options?
We stock replacement parts and offer full repairs for most K-Tec / Kitchen Mill models.
If you are needing repairs for older machines or other parts, please reach out to us to determine repair options and cost. We also are able to send most parts if you are wanting to make repairs yourself.
▶ Where is the coarseness adjustment dial? How do I make coarser or finer flour?
Current Kitchen Mill models are fixed on the fine-grind setting and no longer have an adjustment dial.
After extensive testing, we found the difference between coarse and fine settings was minimal for impact grinding. Removing the dial allowed us to simplify the design and create a faster, quieter, cooler-running mill.
For coarser flour, try feeding grain more slowly, using smaller batches, or milling for a shorter time (then sift if needed). Re-grinding is not recommended as it can burn the flour and overheat the mill.
▶ Will our parts fit my older K-Tec, Blendtec, or Magic Mill?
Magic Mill is a different company from us.
• Our parts (F-Filter, gasket, cyclone cup, etc.) fit the Magic Mill II and most K-Tec / Kitchen Mill models.
• They do not fit the Magic Mill III (different dimensions).
• Stainless steel pans on older models are smaller — the new cyclone cup is taller and requires a clear plastic pan to fit properly.
